HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR CADETS

There are a variety of ways that individuals or businesses can support the Cadets of Ville Saint-Laurent. If you are interested in supporting our Cadets, but still have questions, you can contact our Sponsoring Committee Chairperson at 588.chairperson@cadets.gc.ca. Below are three ways that you can help show your support.

Financial Donations

Our Sponsoring Committee is a registered Canadian charity (Charity No. 123613523 RR0039) and will issue Tax Receipts for any donation of $20.00 or more. As recommended by the Canadian Revenue Agency, we accept donations by cheque only. Please make sure to make the cheque payale to: Air Cadet League Of Canada - 588 Eric Simms Squadron. Tax receipts will be mailed within four to six weeks after the donation has been processed. Tax receipts will be made to name of person and mailed to the address listed on the cheque. Donations can be mailed to the address below.

Gifts in Kind

Want to make a more specific donation? Our Sponsoring Committee can accept non-cash gifts that can be used to support our Cadets. This can include items such as sports equipment, musical instruments and supplies, trophies, etc.

Become a volunteer

Volunteers give their time in a variety of ways, for example: running the canteen, driving Cadets to and from events, helping with special events, assisting with summer course selections and promotion interviews, being a photographer or a media relations representative for the Squadron and so on. They want the Squadron to be successful and to be part of making that happen.
